What will you need to succeed?

Supervise assigned staff while planning, organizing, and directing work activities.
Responsible for performing and/or directing employees to make sure all inspections are completed and any deficiencies from the inspections are corrected.
Prepare hazardous waste manifests.
Pack expired lab chemicals.
Direct and/or perform repairs and improvements of assigned facilities.
Facilitate maintenance repairs by submitting work orders and coordinating with maintenance department.
Coordinate work activities with representatives of local, state, and federal agencies, citizens, and equipment and service suppliers.
Ensure accuracy of the work system database.
High School Degree or Equivalent.
Working knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and operations.
A minimum of two years working within the management of hazardous waste field.
Valid GA driver’s license with good driving record.
The ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
Successful candidates who reach the offer stage will need to pass a pre-employment background and driving record check, drug screen, and physical in order to establish a start date.
