What success looks like
- HBO degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Built Environment, Facility Management or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, site management, clerk of works, contractor management or similar roles.
- Experience working for a contractor, developer, engineering consultancy or project management consultancy.
- Solid understanding of Dutch construction regulations and HSE requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make practical decisions on site.
- Fluent in Dutch and professionally proficient in English.
- Experience in logistics, industrial, warehouse or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure, utilities, energy or mobility projects.
- VCA VOL certification.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Experience supporting commissioning and project handover activities.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented.
- A visible and confident presence on site.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative and relationship-focused.
- Commercially aware.
- Comfortable balancing client, contractor and project objectives.
- Safe delivery of construction works with minimal incidents.
- Effective oversight of contractor performance.
- High-quality project handovers.
- Strong client satisfaction and stakeholder engagement.
- Timely identification and mitigation of construction and QSHE risks.
- A positive contribution to the growth of Turner & Townsend's infrastructure and energy transition portfolio.
