Major Duties and Responsibilities

Shared Vision: Supports a vision of excellence for all students, with an urgency to maximize every opportunity necessary to achieve ambitious student outcomes
Teaching and Learning: With guidance from and in collaboration with the teacher, teach small groups during learning rotations. With guidance from and in collaboration with the teacher, lead small group intervention for targeted students. Meet with the teacher regularly to discuss student progress and plan next steps for instruction and intervention
Coverage Support: Leads the classroom in the absence of the lead teacher
Student Supervision: Supports campus supervision before and after school dismissal, assists in any lunch administration activities (such as escorting students to lunch and to the play area).
Community Outreach: Demonstrates commitment to the community by communicating regularly with families and attending key community events
Professional Expectations: Participates fully in all assigned staff meetings, professional developments, and planning sessions. Prepares lessons and student exemplars as assigned. Participates fully in the coaching cycle (being observed, receiving real-time and post-lesson feedback, collaborating with the coach on action steps, implementing action steps, etc.) Supports the general day-to-day activities of the school site.
Organize confidential testing materials
Support testing logistics with guidance from the site Testing Coordinator
Monitor testing progress
Report progress to Site Testing Coordinator
Assist IAs as needed with testing
Perform other duties as assigned.
