Working hands on with Ingram associates and vendors during the overhaul process
Installing electrical systems onboard vessels in accordance with Subchapter M regulations
Maintaining knowledge of current and new technologies
Calibrating, testing, inspecting, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic devices (PLCs, transmitters, controllers etc.)
Assisting in the design, engineering, and procurement of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems
Developing procedures and documentation for USCG approval for equipment upgrades for vessels per Subchapter M regulations
Attending routine staff, overhaul, ISAFE & project progress meetings as required
Communicating needs for projects and overhauls/supervising daily shore side repairs
Assisting Chief Engineers with “hands on” maintenance and repair tasks during overhaul
Assisting Chief Engineers with on board maintenance procedures during overhaul
Completing records and other documents from repairs
Performing special technical assignments as directed by the Manager of Electrical Projects
Possessing a high level of marine electrical knowledge with focus on Zero Harm and safety
Assuring essential documentation from vessel repairs are maintained
Supporting department activities with regular and prompt attendance
Working hands on with training of chief and junior engineers
