Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and trucks (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems)
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs to supervisors
  • Work in the shop as well as perform field service on active jobsites
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic/technician in construction or similar industry
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read technical manuals and repair documentation
  • Welding and fabrication experience (asset)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 an asset)
