ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Physical Requirements Bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, visual acuity, climbing stairs and ladders, driving a fork truck and lifting up to 50 pounds
- HS diploma or GED required. A preferred candidate will have additional targeted technical education in plastics materials or in manufacturing machine processing
- Minimum 3yrs of experience in plastic extrusion or similar manufacturing environments
- Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Activities may include, but are not limited to
- Run and oversee all aspects of the plastic injection molding/ extrusion process, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Collaborate closely with line inspectors and packers to uphold product quality and meet production goals.
- Use precision instruments to monitor meters, gauges, temperatures, and pressures to maintain adherence to production specifications.
- Configure machines with precision to accommodate varying production needs and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular tests and inspections to verify product quality according to established procedures.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate production records and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from process standards.
