- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance testing equipment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Experience troubleshooting form-fill-seal packaging equipment, conveyors, coding systems, metal detectors, case packers, and palletizing equipment.
- Technical degree, maintenance certification, apprenticeship, or related technical training.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems including motors, motor controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment including multimeters and electrical testing devices.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to effectively communicate maintenance needs and recommendations to production and leadership teams.
- Proactive work style with a demonstrated ability to complete assignments despite obstacles or changing priorities.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to maintain regular attendance.
