Qualifications
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], and work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory control
- Willingness to obtain certification to operate warehouse equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jack
- Ability to work with yeast and flour products
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
Schedule
- Shift: 9:00am Start and 5 days per week based on business needs.
- Must work Sundays and Fridays and 2-3 additional days. Generally closed on Saturday unless required during high-volume times, holidays, etc. Needs to be flexible for overtime and Saturdays and varying start times as needed from time to time.
- We have some flexibility to start shift earlier and work 4 day work weeks if needed.
Wage
Responsibilities and Duties
Sanitation Responsibilities including, Production equipment, and General cleaning tasks
- $22.00 an hour
- Employee bonus potential up to 2% annually, prorated upon start date
- Excellent employee referral bonuses
- Opportunity for Overtime at peak-business production times of year
- Process and manufacture pizza dough, including mixing, placing, and stacking
- Rotate between various positions such as dough maker, placer, and stacker
- Operate, monitor, and clean dough processing equipment
- Adhere to food safety regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate production records and manage inventory of materials
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Participate in cross-training for warehouse or sanitation duties as needed
- Clean and sanitize Vemag dough divider, production mixers, production mixing bowls, dough rounder, and food contact conveyor belts
- Maintain detailed cleaning/sanitation logs required for FDA documentation
- Properly store all sanitation tools and equipment
- Clean flour small ingredients room
- Ensure production’s and dough cooler’s floor are swept and dry
- Ensure proper floor drainage in production room (clean floor drains)
- Clean/Sanitize production room walls
- Ensure tray washer area is clean and sanitize as required by SOP guidelines
- Ensure spiral floor and platforms are cleared of dough
- Empty all dough waste containers
- Ensure trash and recycling in production rooms is disposed of daily and receptacles are cleaned and sanitized
