- Assist crew members with cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust hood systems in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
- Support pressure washing and degreasing of hood canopies, duct collars, ductwork, exhaust fans, and related system components.
- Help prepare job sites, equipment, and materials before and during service work.
- Assist with inspections and ensure equipment and system components are properly reassembled following service.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area at customer locations and in company vehicles.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while on customer premises and while traveling between job sites.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work flexible hours, including occasional night, early morning, or extended shifts based on customer needs.
- Communicate job status, issues, or delays with lead technicians and supervisors as needed.
- Complete assigned work in a timely manner while meeting quality and safety expectations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in heavy‑labor, industrial, or commercial cleaning environments with transferable skills.
- Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and dirty environments.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, pressure washing, construction labor, industrial services, or commercial kitchen hood cleaning preferred.
- Prior experience using pressure washing equipment.
- IKECA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
