Electrician

Ability to perform all work safely.

Can-do attitude.

2 year degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience and/or apprenticeship.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to perform essential functions of working in a heavy industrial environment (climbing ladders, climbing stairs, walking distances, working at heights, working in tight or enclosed spaces, inclement weather, temperature extremes).

Strong diagnostic skills and willingness to learn new equipment and procedures as needed.

Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Familiarization with the National Electrical Code.

Medium voltage experience is preferred, but not required.

Washington EL01 or EL07 preferred but not required.

Journeyman pay rate is $41.70 - $44.79/hr. Additional pay can be earned as skills/certifications are obtained.

4-10 day shift schedule, includes one weekend and one swing shift rotation every 5-6 weeks, with 6 days off prior to the weekend shift.

Less than journey-level skill and experience will be considered for well qualified candidates.

New employees are subject to 180 day probationary period.

IEP is a smoke-free and drug-free (including cannabis-free) production facility operating 24 hours per day/365 days per year.
