Resolve shift crew staffing issues, oversee crew training, development and guidance.
Monitor production operations and report on daily activities (both oral and written).
Provide daily manufacturing process support and problem solving to improve production efficiency including troubleshooting, decision making, data management and analysis.
Work with superintendents to improve processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs while maintaining environmental compliance and protection.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or other Technical field preferred but not required.
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a union environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, problem solve and execute solutions.
Demonstrated leadership and change management skills.
Proficient project management and organizational skills with experience preparing oral and written shift reports.
Proficient with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) preferred.
Knowledge of pulp & paper manufacturing or experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

The Production Supervisor – Shift Operations is a salaried position. Pay range is $78k to $95k per year depending on experience and education.
Inland Empire Paper Company continues to offer excellent benefits to employees and their families including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, 13 paid holidays per year and 2 weeks of vacation to start (pro-rated first year based on hire date). Some holidays may be worked depending on the crew rotation.
