Description

Procurement Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders for high-usage consumables (e.g., PPE, paint supplies, tools, welding gases).
Vendor Coordination Partner with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, resolve discrepancies, and maintain cost accuracy.
Receiving & Organization Receive, inspect, and organize inventory using a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methodology to ensure proper material rotation and minimize waste.
Cycle Counts Perform routine physical inventory counts to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
Usage Tracking Monitor consumption trends and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Documentation Maintain accurate records of material distribution by department and project.
Experience 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or tool room management—preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Organization Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Technical Skills Experience with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in spreadsheets.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
Communication Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
