Delivers and receives product from outside services as required. Checks incoming shipments for quantities delivered. Counts number of packages or individual items, inspects for damages to outer container and notes any irregularities on carrier’s bill of lading. Moves merchandise to specified areas, checks all items for apparent damage, check items against manifest and delivers paperwork to the proper office. Prepares product for shipping, including packaging of goods and loading of trucks or vans for shipment. Roughly 80% of deliveries will be in the local Rochester, NY area, while the other 20% will require over-the-road, long distance travel.
