Essential Functions

Rigorously inspect materials before, during, and after processing to ensure quality control of the finished product
Read and interpret written instructions from manufacturing work orders and cut-sheets
Ensure machines are operating properly and safely
Provides basic maintenance to the machine(s) to properly operate
Prepare materials to be processed and mounted coil in the hub
Operate hoists and check periodically to plan preventative maintenance assigned to the truck production functions
Runs full diagnosis and treatment of faults and/or situations that affect the functioning of the designated machine
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Comply with Company and OSHA policies
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge and ability to distinguish different types of materials.
Knowledge of metal and basic shop fabrication equipment.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Ability to operate forklift, overhead crane, and tractor-trailer
Ability to withstand pressure and adapt to changes
Ability to multi-task while meeting strict deadlines
