Responsibilities
- Direct daily steel loadout and shipping activities.

- Check material markings, quantities, load details, and shipping paperwork for accuracy.
- Work with production, logistics, and shop personnel to coordinate scheduled deliveries.
- Complete and maintain load tickets and shipping records using production/shipping software.
- Train and assist new employees with shipping and loadout procedures.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce required safety practices.
- Monitor workflow and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Provide hands-on direction to the shipping team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in structural steel material handling or shipping.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience operating: Overhead cranes Telehandlers Vertical mast lifts Forklifts Familiarity with Tekla EPMgo or similar production/shipping software preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
