What You’ll Do

- Possess knowledge of the design, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and repair of systems and subsystems of SAM coaches and related shop equipment
- Able to work on their feet eight hours per day, lift 100 pounds, and carry parts, equipment, and supplies
- Possess excellent manual dexterity
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, including trade or vocational school. Additional training at manufacturer’s schools, courses, or seminars is a plus.
- Hold a valid SD driver’s license
- Able to obtain a CDL permit
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical
- Pass a drug screening and background check: no felonies, clean MVR, no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions, and no more than 2 speeding tickets
- Able to apply in person at the Sioux Area Metro office
- Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.
- Salary Range: $27.15 - $35.52 / per hour, depending on experience.
- Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, 401K with up to 6% company match, holiday pay, vacation, tool allowance, and bonus days
