Responsibilities include
- Troubleshoots, assesses and repairs most manufacturing/facilities issues in a timely manner without supervision
- Interprets blueprints and schematics
- Basic to advance knowledge of electrical circuits and PLCs
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
- Ability to build and rebuild certain components for machines (i.e. bearings, pumps, etc.)
Skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Experience working in and around mechanical equipment, preferably in a food/pharmaceutical/environment
- Knowledge in tableting, compounding, and/or blending a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment
