Key Responsibilities:
- Installation Install UPS power distribution systems, load centers, and backup generators.
- Conduit Bending Utilize Greenlee 881/555 series benders, ratchet benders, and hand benders efficiently.
- Blueprint & Print Reading Interpret and work directly from electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Troubleshooting Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical issues on-site.
- Control Wiring Apply a fundamental understanding of control wiring to various systems.
- Equipment Operation Safely operate heavy machinery including forklifts, lulls, backhoes, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Licensing Must hold a valid State Journeyman License OR be actively on track to take the Journeyman exam while remaining in good standing with an approved apprenticeship program.
- Experience 3+ years of verifiable electrical experience, specifically in heavy commercial or industrial environments.
- Technical Knowledge Proficient and up-to-date knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Tools Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools standard for the trade.
- Driving Record Must maintain a clean, insurable driving record for nationwide travel.
- Computer Skills Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products for logging data or updates.
