These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Environmental Management in addition to a minimum of five years’ general engineering supervisory experience and/or through a minimum of eight years’ progressive engineering experience and/or closely related field in a comparably sized operation with five years of supervisory experience.
- Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching and consulting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of HotSOS
- Competent in the use of Coupa (P2P) purchasing system
- Competent in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with Team Member relations issues
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization
- Journeyman level in mechanical, engineering or plumbing trade or master in a finished trade
- Highly skilled in the use of all hand and power tools related to facility based maintenance.
- Highly skilled working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry fields.
- Highly skilled with proper application and use of common and job related special tools and test equipment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
