Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts to include swing shifts and holidays if needed
- General understanding of electronics at the circuit board level.
- General understanding of microprocessors.
- Ability to use all machine test equipment.
- Machines and equipment used, but not limited to, include the complete range of radio frequency, high voltage, mechanical and pallet jacks, hand trucks, electronic diagnostic and repair equipment including Bally Test Equipment, IGT Test Equipment, other diagnostic and repair equipment, such as oscilloscopes (signal tracing with A-B comparisons and external trigger), EPROM checker-programmer, all machine testers (troubleshooting major boards to component level) AC and DC supplies (to locate over-current conditions), power supply testers, probes, soldering stations, heat guns, and a variety of hand tools, grinders, and other high speed component rotary appliances.
- These skills are typically acquired through the completion of an AA degree in Electronics and one-year VLT repair experience, or through a minimum of two years’ progressive VLT repair experience
- Ability to communicate effectively at all times with customer, as well as all levels of employees.
- Ability to observe and direct actions of peers.
- Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
- Must be able to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
- Must be able to carry, bend, climb, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds, and push/pull up to 125 pounds so as to be able to reach all areas of machines in need of repair and move machines around work area as needed.
- Ability to feel and work with hands/fingers as the Gaming Tech I may not always be able to see inside of the machine.
