Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external calibration activities and maintain schedules
- Manage approved calibration vendors and support vendor selection
- Ensure compliance with ASTM, NIST, ISO, and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate calibration records, certifications, and documentation
- Analyze test data and resolve measurement errors and uncertainty issues
- Troubleshoot inspection, measuring, and test equipment
- Assess equipment needs and recommend upgrades or replacements
- Support calibration procedures and continuous improvement efforts
- Coordinate equipment repairs and servicing with suppliers
- Ensure timely calibration and removal of overdue equipment from service
- Prepare calibration extension requests with minimal quality risk
- Investigate and resolve calibration-related issues
